About This Blog

Hey Everybody!

There are things that you should know if you're reading this blog. Here are some of them.

About Me.

Everyone has a universe inside of them. Mine is just as narrow and broad as you'd expect. Currently, I'm serving a United Methodist Church in the mountains of North Carolina as their first lady pastor in, oh, twenty years or so. I just graduated in May from Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, DC with an MDiv. Before this, I was at University of Edinburgh earning an MSc in Science and Religion. Before that, I was an informal science educator with a planetarium for four years after college at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I have a lot of thoughts and feelings.

About This Blog.

I know most of my readers are friends and family keeping up with me on the internet. If that's not what brought you here, feel free to scroll around or poke through the archive. There's a popular posts widget if you scroll down, which is always a good place to start. You can also check out the other pages (up at the top, right beside where you clicked to get here) for links to posts on my travels and several of the series I've run over the course of the blog. I'm also good about tagging things, so feel free to peruse the tags for sermons or thoughts on Science and Religion.

If posts seem few and far between, that's likely because I'm in the process of moving to a new website as a part of my ministry and part of my writing. It's a slow process, but I'm excited to share it when it's done!
